Your First Look Inside the Blue Room at Carbone

Much-anticipated Carbone, the Italian restaurant with captain roaming the room in Zac Posen-designed tuxes artfully making dishes table side, expanded its footprint to Las Vegas out of New York City. Now for your first look inside the restaurant from Mario CarboneRich Torrisi and Jeff Zalaznick, now open in the former Sirio space at Aria.

San Francisco-based designer Ken Fulk created the theatrical look inside this Italian restaurant that hearkens back to the glamour-era of Las Vegas. Inside find a series of rooms that reflect that vintage Golden Age of the city.

The Blue Room features vaulted ceilings with golden-tipped lighting and walls made of tiles from New York subway stations. Retro flooring mirrors the design of the iconic Las Vegas Sands’ pool during the Rat Pack era. Guests can sit at a vintage mahogany bar with gold detailing while getting a back view of cocktails being made in front of an antique mirror.

A white loggia, or corridor, opens through a series of elliptical arches revealing the blue environment at the front of the restaurant. Private dining? Right here.
