Major Food Group’s Exclusive Crown Club Is Now Open At Barclays Center

If Beyoncé and the Olsen twins still haven't managed to convince you that basketball games are chic, perhaps Major Food Group can.

Earlier this year it was announced that the team behind A-list favorites including Carbone, Sadelle’s, and Dirty French would be debuting an uber exclusive courtside club at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Now, the buzzed about destination is finally open – and VIP sports fans are in for a treat.

Only accessible to “top-tier ticket holders,” the aptly named Crown Club is 7,700 square feet of total glamour, featuring lounge areas, a salon, and a polished snack pantry that’s the total opposite of any hot dog concession stand the commoners are waiting in line at.

There’s also, of course, a lavish dining room, where visitors can order up Major Food Group’s culinary cult hits including Mario Carbone’s famous spicy rigatoni.

The opulent interiors, which might be an even bigger draw than the menu offerings, were conceived by designer-to-the-stars Ken Fulk, who aimed to channel the vibes of a “grand residence.” Surely, the celebrities and high-rollers who’ll be frequenting the place will feel right at home.
