Casa Grande

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Many years ago, while enjoying a bottle of “Casa Grande” wine on vacation in Mexico, my clients joked that it would someday make a great name for a getaway. When they bought a parcel in Cabo, they enlisted the famous Mexican architecture firm Legoretta, and then they called me. They wanted a place to escape, a place where they could cut loose and celebrate, and a truly remarkable destination that would be a draw for generations to come. From the beginning, this house was going to be grandé—not only in scale but in aesthetic and potentially, in design history.
