The Huntington Hotel
The Huntington Hotel, a timeless architectural treasure now listed on the National Historic Register, hosted celebrities and dignitaries for nearly a century at the top of Nob Hill, while the city’s most stylish denizens became regulars at the world-class spa and Big Four restaurant. Ken Fulk was brought on to help revitalize and reimagine the hotel, taking the very best elements of the history and layering in new experiences and touchpoints that would propel this iconic San Francisco address into the future. He set out to enhance the enduring residential sensibility by preserving the original charm and details of the building’s original Georgian-style architecture—stately plasterwork, wood paneling and expansive light-filled windows. With gracious suites, a beloved restaurant and the most luxurious spa in town, Ken said his goal was to, "Return that gleam to our city’s crown jewel by reimagining it as a grand residence with destinations for repeat visitors and locals alike.”
