The Quin House

The Quin is a new social club at 217 Commonwealth Avenue in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay. As Creative Director and Designer of The Quin, Ken Fulk reimagined the historic Algonquin Club as a modern gathering place that would inspire meaningful connections. In collaboration with founders, Sandy and Paul Edgerley, the team at Ken Fulk Inc helped define the look and feel of a world-class social club to entice a diverse membership that spans industries, backgrounds and generations.

In Fulk’s own words, “The Quin needed to be a reflection of, not only who Boston may have been historically, but the extraordinary hub that this city has become.” After a $50M overhaul, the six-story building on Commonwealth Avenue—which was purpose-built for the Algonquin Club in 1888 by venerable firm McKim, Mead & White—will feature a wide range of food and beverage options, a spa and fitness center, eight guest suites, and a multitude of meeting spaces to gather, socialize, work, and relax.
