Isaacs trained in drawing and etching in Seville, and in painting at the Fleisher Art Memorial (Philadelphia, PA) and with Douglas Balentine (Charleston, SC). "I paint outside to observe light and weather change over several hours... experience of nature is intensified. I enjoy the array of shapes and geometric opportunities that man-made structures lend to a landscape painting. The ongoing dialogue between representation and abstraction makes Provincetown an exciting place to paint."
