The base is a rectangular cartouche shape, enriched with carved foliate scrolling volutes. Bursting from the center oval reserve is an oustrectehd and fully dressed arm, extending a hand to hold taper candles, complete with a drip pan base. Sconces are decorative and intended to hold taper candles when affixed to the wall. Sold only as a set.
