Marcie Mcgoldrick's stunning cameo pendants are hand cast in colored porcelain—which means the cameos are not glazed a color, but rather the clay itself determines the hue. Each piece is then hand polished and waxed to a smooth finish and suspended on a 28” silk cord. Based in Pennsylvania artist Marcie McGoldrick crafts beautiful creations using porcelain and metal. She studied Industrial Design at Pratt and refined her eye as an editor at Martha Stewart. Her work is inspired by the classics, using cameos with motifs from Greek and Roman lore and handmade one at a time in her studio using tinted porcelain. Due to the handmade nature of the ceramics there may be slight variations in size, glaze and finish.
