Creating a glorious space and crafting the best coffee with the utmost care, we have elevated what has become a major part of many people’s lives and honoring it as a shared experience. Our goal for Felix Roasting Company was to create the antithesis to the industrial styling of cafe culture. Instead of live-edge wood, concrete and steel, we envisioned a luxurious, elegant and highly aesthetic cafe that, through its design, would elevate the ritual of the daily coffee. 

We referenced classical architecture and the sacred geometry used in cathedrals as a way to define the space and create a central focal point. We also looked to old European cafe culture in Vienna and Milan as well as the Secessionist movement to inspire our brand identity and custom patterns for the wallpapers and upholstery.
