Henry Hall & Legacy Records
As designer and creative director for Henry Hall, a ground-up 33-story residential tower in Hudson Yards, we conceived everything from the name, brand identity, uniforms, design and the first two floors of hospitality spaces, which includes the highly acclaimed Legacy Records restaurant. Combining classic architectural details with bold color, custom details, vintage furnishings and opinionated artwork, we took high style and amped it up for a new generation. Nothing is meant to be too precious or pristine. It’s not a single style or period we’re re-creating, just a beautifully appointed space that feels like home. Legacy Records was designed as a series of refined yet laid-back spaces that would shift from mornings as a midtown cafe to evenings as a Hudson Yards hotspot with an extra easygoing vibe to suit weekend brunch service.
