When his Silicon Valley clients asked for help personalizing their residence in Woodside, Ken Fulk created a home fit for the Modern Gaucho. The clients have a long legacy of adventures between them—he hails from Patagonia and she from Colorado, and they spent the first years of their marriage circumnavigating the globe aboard a catamaran. To transform their compound of custom timber-and-glass volumes into a stylish California homestead, the team started with a natural palette of wood, concrete, leather and glass, and set out to imbue the space with a celebration of Argentinean culture and American modernism.
