Crafted by Carlos Nason, from one of Murano’s earliest glassblowing families, this piece began its life as a ceiling fixture. Now repurposed as a one-of-a-kind table lamp, it features a metal base and three hand blown iridescent glass forms that cast a soft white glow.

Carlo Nason, born in 1935 in Murano, Italy, comes from one of the island’s oldest glassblowing families. Involved in the process from a very young age, Nason is known for his use of historical techniques in producing inventive lamps, vases, and sculptures. Originally designed as a ceiling fixture in the 1970s, this sculptural lamp features a metal base stacked with three handblown, iridescent Murano glass forms.
